8 Best Beaches In Western Australia

Western Australia has some of the most spectacular beaches in Australia.  The warm climate, blue Indian Ocean, and small population all contribute to the stunning beaches and laid back atmosphere.

There are plenty more beaches than this list alone, but this is a starting point for some of the best beaches in Western Australia to add to your bucket list.

Cable Beach

Broome's Cable Beach, which boasts 22 kilometres of immaculate white sand bordered by the breathtaking turquoise Indian Ocean, draws tourists from all over Australia and the world.

With the convenience of resorts and RV sites nearby, Cable Beach is unspoilt by man-made ochre red cliffs and sand dunes. There's nowhere better for a beach vacation than here, with ideal, warm weather for months on end.

Many fantastic beach activities are available at this white sand beach. You can always locate a peaceful length of beautiful sand to lay down your towel or rent a deckchair and umbrella, and be lulled into tranquilly as the waters softly lap the shoreline. The area is uncrowded even during the busiest months of May through October.

Cottesloe Beach

For good reason, Cottesloe Beach is a popular tourist attraction. Featuring an enormous tiered grass area for the best sunset viewing or lounging with friends, this place is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and surfing.

With lots of shelter and sprawling grass to the north and south of the central beachside Indiana structure, Cottesloe beach is a great place for picnics. Cottesloe has drinking water facilities, showers, accessible restrooms, and changing rooms. There is stationary exercise equipment and a sizable children's playground to the north of the Indiana building.

Turquoise Bay

Turquoise Bay is the jewel of Exmouth's Cape Range National Park, frequently ranked among the top three beaches in Australia.

Rottnest

Scarborough Beach

Scarborough Beach is easily accessible by automobile, being in the City of Stirling, only 20 minutes from Perth City, and having great public transportation options.
